I did not attend the live launch event on 1 October 2026. Can I still take part in Get Tech Certified?

How do I find out about the Women in Tech initiative as part of Get Tech Certified?
You can find our dedicated Women in Tech page here.
Can I use a personal email address?
No. You must use your work email address when registering for Get Tech Certified learning opportunities. This helps participating providers confirm your eligibility for the campaign.
How much does Get Tech Certified cost to organisations?
Get Tech Certified is completely free for participating organisations and learners. All learning and certification opportunities included as part of Get Tech Certified are available at no cost during the campaign period.
Do all learning pathways end in a certificate?
No. A small number of learning pathways do not result in a certification.

Depending on the learning pathway, learners may have the opportunity to achieve a recognised certification, accreditation or digital badge. The outcome available will be clearly explained on each provider’s Get Tech Certified learning page.
How is the training delivered?
In most cases the training will be self-paced virtual training via your chosen vendor’s learning portal. Some vendors do offer instructor-led online training and in a few cases also host live in-person events.
Do I need to work in a digital or technology role to take part?
No. Get Tech Certified is for people with a range of experience, whether you’re exploring technology for the first time or looking to deepen existing expertise.

There are learning opportunities from beginner to advanced level, so you can choose a pathway that suits your experience and development goals.
What subjects can I learn about?
Learning is available across areas including:

  • Architecture
  • Cloud Computing
  • Cyber Security
  • Data

  • Software Engineering
Can I take advantage of more than one training offer?
Yes. You can take advantage of as much training as you like. However, we will not distribute multiple free certification vouchers at once, as these cannot be repurposed and any unused certification vouchers will be wasted. Once you have redeemed a voucher, you can apply for another.
Can I choose more than one vendor’s training offers?
Yes. We would encourage you to explore several vendors’ offers.
How long does the learning take to complete?
This varies depending on the provider, subject and level of learning. Check the individual learning pathway for information about the expected time commitment before you start.
Do I need to complete the learning in one sitting?
Most self-paced learning does not need to be completed in one sitting and allows you to save your progress and return later. Check the individual provider’s learning page for any specific requirements.
Do I need my manager’s permission to take part?
You should follow your organisation’s usual learning and development policies. If you plan to complete Get Tech Certified learning during working hours, we recommend discussing this with your line manager first.

Get Tech Certified offers a range of self-paced learning, so you can choose opportunities that work around your role and other commitments.
Do I have to complete my learning by 31 December 2026?
This will be clearly displayed on the vendor’s learning portal. In most cases, you do not have to complete the learning by 31 December 2026, but you will need to have signed up to your chosen learning pathway and applied for an exam voucher if applicable.
How do I claim my certification?
Check the individual vendor’s learning portal for details.
